A safe space to meet the challenges of mothering

  • All moms welcome.
  • Attend alone or with children (please RSVP if bringing children).
  • Share, listen and discover opportunities in the challenges you face.
  • Learn and practice viable ways to meet stress and solve problems collaboratively with your children, partners, friends and others (instead of yell, blame, shame or punish).

Free Monthly Gatherings

Meeting Outline

  • We open the meeting with introductions, followed by a guided meditation.
  • We figure out who would like to share, how much time each person has to talk and then take turns sharing, listening and offering reflections when requested.
  • We close the meeting with another brief meditation and visualization to take into our mothering experience (and sometimes henna for those interested – here’s a link to more about henna).

When & Where

  • Meetings are held in Midland. Please email for specific location information.
  • If you plan to come late please let me know in advance as we may close the meeting if no one comes within 15 minutes of the start time, but I’m happy to stay if I know someone is coming.

Why Mom’s Cave?

As a mom of five, parent educator and mindfulness meditation facilitator committed to turning challenges into opportunities while strengthening force free, trust full relationships, it is important to me for moms to have a space space to connect and share compassion. Mom’s Cave is one way to create supportive community as we mother our kids and learn how “caving” doesn’t have to be a bad thing, but instead a gift to ourselves and our families. Please feel free to email with questions.
